On the special invitation of Chairman HIA and his cabinet members Honorable Mr. Mattiullah Khan Secretary of Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Dept KPK Along with Mr. Javed Iqbal Khattak  CEO of KPEZDMC visited HIA. Allotment of  Plot No. 16 for the establishment of a Display Centre, Trauma Centre, Provision of wheat flour to Food Industries, expansion in Labour Colony,  speed up work of New Grid Station, Establishing Export Zone in Hattar, and to promote linkages between industries and academia were discussed in detail.

Secretary IC&TE Mr.Mati Ullah Khan visited the KPBOIT office for a briefing on KPBoIT's progress, issues, and way forward. The KPBoIT team shared a comprehensive presentation and discussed options and solutions for issues and future plans. The worthy Secretary took a keen interest in KPBoIT activities and issued directives for improvement in coordination with stakeholders in creating an enabling environment for the business community of the province. He ensured full support from the department in promoting business opportunities in KP.

Mr. Mati Ullah Khan, Secretary Industries Department chaired an Introductory meeting with the Officers of the Industries Department today on 05-04-2023 in the Conference Room of the Industries Department. Special Secretary Industries, Mr. Ali Qadar Safi briefed the Secretary abouT the composition, vision, and functions of the Industries Department and its allied formations.

A Consultative meeting regarding Free Ramzan Atta Distribution in District DI Khan and Tank was held under the chairmanship of Honorable Secretary Industries KP Capt(retd.) Mr. Kamran Ahmed Afridi. The subject meeting was attended by Commissioner DI Khan, DC DI Khan, DC Tank and gave a progress report on current Distribution in the district.

Minister of Industries Commerce & Technical Education Department Mr. Adnan Jalil, chaired a meeting to review the progress and performance of IC&TE and its allied formations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Minister issued the directives to actively and closely work with all the relevant departments and involved partners to complete the projects that will promote investment, trade, and economic activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chairman BoD-KPEZDMC/Secretary IC&TE-KP Mr. Amir Sultan Tareen and CEO-KPEZDMC and CZM visited Gadoon Economic Zone. Chairman was briefed by CEO about the zone through a detailed presentation followed by a visit to enterprises including Dynea Pakistan Limited and AJ Textile Mills. Chairman also inaugurated a new industry named Fuxing Materials with an investment of PKR 150 million generating more than 50 direct employment opportunities andvisited Ghazi Economic Zone and inspected the development work in the zone. Infrastructure work including roads and drainage is 90% completed.

The newly appointed Caretaker Minister for Industries, Commerce & Technical Education Department Mr. Adnan Jalil visited the department to meet with the officers and discussed the improvement of the department.

Honorable Secretary Industries Mr. Amer Sultan Tareen chaired a meeting regarding Stabilization and Development Programme - UNDP by the Planning Support Unit which aims to provide Technical Support and improve the implementation of “Economic Growth” in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

On 5th January 2023, Secretary Industries Commerce and Technical Education and Chairman BOD KPEZDMC Mr. Saqib Raza Aslam along with Mr. Hassan Farid (Member BoD KPEZDMC) and CEO KP EZDMC Mr. Javed Khattak visited Hattar Economic Zones to inaugurate two industries and launch a tree plantation campaign.

During the visit, Chairman BOD / Secretary IC&TE also inaugurated M/A Ali Steel Industries and Farhad Enterprises. These industrial projects, worth PKR 850 million, will generate more than 800 employment opportunities upon commercial production.  Farhad Enterprises is set to become the first ever cold storage in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with a state-of-the-art cold storage plant equipped with artificial intelligence and a capacity of 5000 metric tons.

44th BoD meeting held today at KPEZDMC, Head Office Peshawar. The meeting was chaired by Secretary IC&TE-KP/Chairman BoD-KPEZDMC Mr. Saqib Raza Aslam. KPEZDMC is dedicated to bringing about a meaningful change through rapid industrialization in the province.
